  The Feldenkrais Method® is an education system that draws on scientific breakthroughs in bio-mechanics, neurophysiology and stress reduction. The “lessons” or exercises communicate directly with your brain, the control center of your body. It is your brain and nervous system- not your muscles- which determine the health of your posture, the ease and comfort of your movement and the extent of your flexibility.

Whether you want to reduce stress, be more comfortable sitting at your computer, play with your children or grandchildren or perform a favorite pastime, these gentle lessons can improve your overall well being. Because The Feldenkrais Method focuses on the relationship between movement and thought, increased mental awareness and creativity accompany physical improvements. Feldenkrais lessons are offered in two ways, enabling you to discover which learning style is most appropriate for your needs. In Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) lessons, Nancy verbally guides you through a sequence of gentle movements intended to help you develop a greater awareness of how you move.
Functional Integration® lessons are designed to meet your personal needs. Communicating through touch and movement Nancy guides you in your one-on-one process of self-discovery. Everyone, from athletes and artists to administrators and attorneys, can benefit from The Feldenkrais Method.

1-Hour Vacation®


A 1-Hour Vacation is a powerful antidote to life’s daily stresses. The Feldenkrais Method of Movement Education uses awareness as a tool to help you discover and change habits that create difficulties in movement, thought and behavior. The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law that states that thoughts are things and thoughts become things. Having awareness of your thoughts and your movements gives you the power to quickly and effectively change your life and is a natural synergy between these two disciplines. Because this method integrates movement with thinking, feeling and sensing, it can also expand your potential in other areas-- particularly creativity and problem solving.
